Letterboxd Expanded: Customize Your Letterboxd Experience
Letterboxd Expanded is a Chrome extension that allows users to customize their experience on the popular film website, letterboxd.com. This free extension offers a range of UI/UX features, with more planned for future updates.
Currently, the main feature of Letterboxd Expanded is the ability to view a user's activity log for a specific film. This feature is accessed through a new menu option that appears when clicking on the film poster menu. The option, labeled "User activity," is highlighted in a red circle in the extension's screenshots and is always added as the last option.
To utilize this feature, users must be browsing letterboxd.com within sub-areas of a user's profile, such as Profile, Activity, Films, Diary, Reviews, Watchlist, Lists, Likes, Tags, Network, and Stats. For example, by accessing a user's profile page and clicking on the film poster menu, users can choose "User activity" to view the activity log for that film.
The activity log page displays all the interactions the user has had with the film on the site, providing a comprehensive overview of their engagement.
Though currently focused on the activity log feature, the developer has plans to implement additional features in the future, making Letterboxd Expanded an exciting extension for film enthusiasts looking to enhance their Letterboxd experience.
